iPhone User Forum Best Sleep App

Independent App Review

Everyone needs sleep. But who needs their reset time more than a college student? With demanding schedules, intense classes, and mind boggling quizzes sleep is an absolute priority for the student on the go. Great news! iSleepTrackPro is now available for anyone in need of their beauty rest. This innovative app is sure to make sleeping troubles a thing of the past with its cutting edge features. Sure, there are plenty of sleep apps out their (all touting to be the best), but few if none that will do what this app is completely capable of. The key to this app is not only its ability to help you sleep, but also its ability to help you avoid it when need be.

Let’s face it; there are times when you’re just not going to get enough sleep, with or without an app to help you manage your sleep. For these times, you still need to be able to function. And not just function, but do so without snoozing or drifting off every 15 minutes. Time to implement iSleepTrack Pro. This functional little app has a very unique feature called “Snap” designed to snap you out of sleep, as it were. When this application detects no motion through your iDevice’s accelerometer, you’ll be given a gentle nudge to wake up, in the form of light sound of your choice and/or a vibration alarm. How much more convenient than being elbowed by your peer sitting next to you! Totally less embarrassing. No more drooling on your sleeve, being frowned on by your professor, or losing brownie points with your boss at work. This application truly pioneers this technology, giving you peace of mind as you go throughout a more somnolent than usual day. With settings to detect no motion, minimum motion, or single motions you’re given versatile options.

Really that’s just one feature of this all-in-one sleep program. You can easily change your background to something that suits you from several different choices. Also included is a Snooze function, designed for the quick nap or after waking up after a short night of sleep when you just need that extra 10 minutes of shut-eye. Everyone knows that science has proven the efficacy of naps. Very beneficial to human health, having a timer to guide your cat nap will allow you to wake up well rested and not in drowsy state of mind.

Remember that this is a sleep app. That so, there is much more to sleeping than naps. That’s right; you’ll need a full night (or day for you night shift workers). The problem is, not everyone is of the same physical and mental makeup. While one person might consider 6 hours a full night of sleep, the next needs a good 8 or 9 hours to feel rested. Also, everyone has a different schedule. Well, iSleepTrackPro has a solution. It has the basic functionality to set the time you want to sleep to. But you also get to choose your alarm in the form of music and/or vibration. On top of that, you get a nice sleep aid, music/sound to go to sleep to. Science has proven this to be very beneficial and it is recommended by top professionals in the field of sleep medicine. Also displayed is the weather forecast with the high and low temperatures and the outlook for the day plus a neat looking digital clock look alike. If you happen to wake up earlier than intended, all you have to do is simply click on the bright yellow “Awake” button.

Do yourself a favor and don’t put a price on a better night’s sleep. Upgrade to iSleepTrackPro for extra features. The professional version includes a “Sleep Dream Journal/Diary” that’s extremely useful. You can take down notes in so many different forms. Draw a picture, record your voice, or type it out. You have several different ways to express yourself. So, you’re always having those crazy dreams that you can’t remember later in the day? Record them in your diary and you’ll be able to see patterns, tell your peers about them, or just have fun with it. In addition to the diary/journal, you’ll be able to keep track of events in your sleep via an integrated “Schedule.” So useful for remembering things that happened during your rest, events that you’ll need to be on time for in the morning, or just for combating plain old forgetfulness – this is sure to be a well-used feature. Need to remember to go to bed early one night? Big exam the next day? No problem.

Consider this. Taking notes about your sleep patterns, where you get the best sleep, and how long you sleep will yield fruitful results to the person in need of a better night’s sleep. It will allow you to keep track of patterns and record your progress. In addition, if you see a health professional in the area of sleep such as a pulmonologist or neurologist the data you record could be invaluable. It’s like a mini sleep study!

This application is truly feature packed, bleeding edge, and useful in so many ways. So many apps downloaded are quickly deleted soon after due to lack of features or failure to function properly. You won’t be getting rid of this quickly. You’ll soon have better groomed sleep schedule and thank yourself for it. We tested this app, and liked it compared to other sleep apps due to its simplicity to use and extra “Snap” feature. You’ll find that this will quickly become one of your most used apps. We give iSleepTrackPro 5 out 5 “Zzz’s.”

Here’s another review

Sleep Healthier/Happier with iSleepTrack/iSleepTrackPro for iPhone/iPad/iTouch

TECHtionary has thoroughly researched sleep patterns in order to bring you an app that will help you overcome those common issues you may have with getting that maximum amount of rest our bodies need. And now it’s here!

Their studies have found that no two people’s patterns are alike. So they understand that not everyone functions best with 8 solid hours like the old adage says, or that frequent cat naps make someone even more tired as some scientists say. For instance, Mallory, a 28 year old assistant to the busy CEO of a major corporation needs 6 hours of undisturbed rest in order to perk up for the days’ duties, whereas James, a 19 year old undergraduate with a hectic work, school and social life benefits more with multiple two-hour naps throughout the day. iSleepTrack allows utilization of all three features Snap, Snooze and Sleep in order to help you find the best balance of personalized sleep.

Snap, Snooze, Sleep

Use the Snap section – unique from any other sleep app available today – to keep you alert in daily tasks. If you find yourself dozing off in monotonous meetings, an all-day class or shift at work, or a self-imposed mandatory study session, then this particular feature will be of great assistance. Keep it in your pocket and it will alarm you by vibration or a musical tune/tone when you become stationary. – It’s not meant for use during driving, so do not use it while operating vehicles. – There are three settings you can use: Fast (for when you want it to alarm you when there is absolutely no motion detected), Medium (for when you want it to alarm you when there is minimal motion detected), and Slow (for when you want it to alarm you when there is a single motion detected instead of a pace of some kind).

Use the Snooze section when you are taking a power nap. You can set a time for the tone/tune or vibration to wake you up at. Then, use the Sleep section for a more advanced alarm system. Set your wakeup time, a tune/tone or vibration for the alarm, and how long you would like the alarm to continue until shutting off automatically or manually beforehand. Then a mode for sleep aid will emit a soothing sound to help you submerge into that must-needed rest.

What’s also great about all three of these features is that you can have the choice to use a song from your device’s personal music list, a recorded voice from that of yourself or loved one, or pick from a varied selection of sounds provided by the app itself for the alarm. Use music only or vibration only, or a combination of both to make that wakeup a pleasant one. Also, chose from a colorful array of backgrounds to personalize the app itself.

Sleep/Dream Journal Diary

iSleepTrackPro features all of the items above and more. Use the journal section to keep a record or notes, photos or post things via email, Facebook, Twitter or Linkedin about your sleep pattern. For instance, maybe you want to share a few tips on how you’ve managed to achieve better sleep like warm milk before bed. Or maybe you want to remember how much sleep you are getting each day in order to create a more efficient schedule.

Then, the Sleep feature includes a schedule section that will help you incorporate your findings into a uniform timetable. Both of these additions in iSleepTrackPro are really helpful in planning your weeks out, and they are worth the small purchase fee as opposed to sticking with the free installation version – also good, but doesn’t include these two items.

This app is really well thought out and anticipates nearly all people’s different sleep patterns they encounter or evolve into overtime. Whether you’re a student, working bee, dead-tired parent, social butterfly or all four, this app is invaluable to your somnolent needs.

iSleepTrack is the solution to your slumber issues. So get to know your body better, benefit your overall well being, and be a happier person in every avenue of life when you get your own dose of the sleep right for you.
